Step 1
Work through the training
Go through all the modules at your own pace. Some people do it over a few days, some dip in and out over a few weeks. There is no deadline pressure — you have lifetime access.
Step 2
Practice and fit on two live models
Once you have been through the theory and practiced on a dolls head, fit extensions on two real models. Take photos of specific stages of your work — Nikki includes a checklist so you know exactly what she needs to see.
Step 3
Submit and get certified
Send your photos to thehairextensioncoach@gmail.com. Nikki gives you feedback. As soon as she is happy with your work, your certificate is issued within 48 hours. If it needs a bit more work, you resubmit — as many times as needed, no extra cost.
Assessments must be done on live models not dolls heads — this is an ABT accreditation requirement. Everything you need to know is explained inside the training.

How do I qualify and get my certificate?
It is really simple. You get full access to the course and learn the theory at your own pace. Once you have been through all the sections, practiced on a dolls head and feel ready, you fit extensions on two live models and send photos or videos of your work. Nikki gives you feedback and as soon as she is happy with your submission, your certificate is issued within 48 hours. You can resubmit as many times as you need at no extra cost.
Do I need previous experience?
No, absolutely not. All you need is a passion for hair and a desire to start something new. The training is designed specifically for beginners with no experience. You do not need any hairdressing qualifications. Students of all ages and backgrounds are welcome here.
How long do I have to complete the course?
Lifetime access. Learn at your own pace, in your own time. If 12 months pass and you have not yet submitted your assessment, you can still continue — you may just need a refresher to resubmit.
What if I do not pass first time?
No stress. You can resubmit as many times as you need. Nikki gives you detailed feedback after every submission explaining exactly how to improve. There is also a checklist included so you know precisely what she is looking for.
Is the training accredited and can I get insurance?
Yes. The courses are accredited by ABT (The Association of Beauty Therapists). Once you complete your training and assessment you can get full professional liability insurance. ABT offer a 10% discount for Nikki's students so you can get insured straight away. Details are included in your training manuals.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Klarna (Pay in 3 or Pay in 30), Clearpay and PayPal Credit are all available at checkout. Your first couple of client fittings can easily cover the cost of the training, especially with the trade discounts included from approved suppliers.
Do I need to buy a kit?
A kit is not included in this bundle but it is recommended. Nikki's luxury kits are available in the shop. The Career Launch Package at £279 includes the full toolkit delivered to your door if you want everything in one go.
Do I need live models or can I use a dolls head?
You can practice on a dolls head during training but your final assessment must be completed on two live models. This is an ABT accreditation requirement. Full guidance on exactly what photos to submit is included inside the training.
What support do I get?
